Russ Bell, CFP®

When it comes to working with clients, for Russ, it’s personal. Unlike the “broker-in-a-box” down the street, Russ is a community member with strong roots in the area. Because he lives and works in our community, Russ takes time to get to know you, your dreams and financial goals. Then he presents a comprehensive financial plan for consideration. Once a plan is agreed to and in place, Russ periodically invites you to review the plan’s performance. Periodic reviews keep your plan on track, allowing for adjustments as your needs and economic conditions change.

Russ is committed to helping the individuals he serves achieve a secure financial future. In 2015, he completed requirements to earn certification as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional from the CFP Board. CFP® practitioners must complete extensive training, meet experience requirements and adhere to specific character and fitness standards. Once certified, they are held to rigorous ethical standards.

Russ earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Management Services from the University of Missouri, Columbia. While at Mizzou, he competed in track and field and played defensive tackle for the Tiger football team. In 2016, Russ was inducted into the University of Missouri Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame.

Russ began his financial services career in 2005, working in fixed income trading for Central Bancompany, joining InvestorServices in 2006.

Russ and wife Lindsay are lifelong residents of Jefferson City and graduates of Jefferson City High School. Raising twin boys Jack and Truman occupies a lot of their day, but Russ remains involved in the community that gave him so much as he grew up.
